Amanda Drakos, PA-C, is an NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant, and the newest member of our OBGYN staff. Amanda was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan and moved to Ohio in 2018 to pursue her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

While at CWRU, Amanda completed her OBGYN clinical clerkship within the Cleveland Clinic Women’s Health Institute. There she gained experience working with obstetrics and gynecologic patients, performing outpatient office procedures, and inpatient obstetrical care. Additionally at CWRU, Amanda served on the executive board of the Student Run Health Clinic as the Outreach Chair and in this role coordinated community outreach projects relating to Sexual and Reproductive Health Education.

Amanda completed her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University where she studied Human Biology and Spanish. In her years in between college and graduate school she worked as a medical assistant at a Women’s Health Clinic and as a Reproductive and Sexual Health Community Educator in Michigan high schools for 2 years. Amanda has extensive experience providing Women’s Health education and is passionate about empowering patients by providing quality patient education and compassionate care.

Amanda lives in Cleveland with her beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Loki. There she enjoys exploring the diverse food scene and walking with Loki at the beach. In her free time, Amanda also enjoys traveling, reading, playing golf, cooking, and spending time with her family back in Michigan.
